Description
Oil-free rotary vane vacuum pumps consist of a rotor in an eccentric position rotating inside a cylindrical body.
This rotor is equipped with grooves in which the vanes are inserted. Because of the centrifugal force, during the rotation the vanes are pushed into contact with the body, creating close spaces that increase their volume drawing air from the container to be emptied and expelling it from the “outlet duct”. Oil-free rotary vane pumps can run continuously both at atmospheric pressure and at the highest vacuum. However, they cannot be used when the aspirated air contains moisture, oil or other traces of liquid.
All versions can be used as compressors.
MAIN APPLICATION FIELDS
SC 5CC direct current oil-free rotary vane vacuum pump has been developed for use for those industrial applications that require an oil -free operation in a restricted but sufficiently ventilated space. The 24V DC motor is equipped with externally reachable connector and brush holder, facilitating connection and maintenance; moreover, the motor is provided with an anti-interference device inside (complying with 2004/108/CE – EMC Directive).
The SC 5CC pump includes the FKM gasket positioned to assure a hermetic seal and a long operating time. The SC 5CC pump can also operate as a compressor.
The SC 5CC pump is equipped with:
• Non-return valve at the inlet
• Silencer at the outlet
• Rotor and pump body NPO treated to withstand oxidation
Main application fields:
suction pads lifting machinery of non-magnetic items like aluminium, glass, marble; pollutant sampling and analysis.
