RCV-160
The Republic RCV-160 dry-running 7.5 hp rotary claw vacuum pump has capacities of 82 cfm for 50 Hz and 103 cfm for 60 Hz.
Republic Rotary Claw Pumps are dry-running positive displacement claw vacuum pumps ideally suited for oil-free applications. They are single stage, air-cooled, and direct driven for continuous operation. The design is one of the most reliable and efficient vacuum pumps available. The pumps utilize high-precision machined claws that rotate in synchronization without contact to generate vacuum without wear. | WORKING PRINCIPLE | |

| Rotary claw vacuum pumps are dry, positive displacement pumps consisting of a pumping chamber (2) and two counter-rotating, synchronized, non-contacting claws (3). The gas enters through the inlet (1) and is filtered by the inlet screen. As it proceeds into the pumping chamber (2), the precisely-dimensioned claws (3) rotate. The small gap between the claws compresses the gas such that the pressure on the discharge side is higher than the inlet. The oil-free gas finally discharges through the silencer (4). |
