Description
Oil-free rotary vane vacuum pumps consist of a rotor in an eccentric position rotating inside a cylindrical body.
This rotor is equipped with grooves in which the vanes are inserted. Because of the centrifugal force, during the rotation the vanes are pushed into contact with the body, creating close spaces that increase their volume drawing air from the container to be emptied and expelling it from the “outlet duct”. Oil-free rotary vane pumps can run continuously both at atmospheric pressure and at the highest vacuum. However, they cannot be used when the aspirated air contains moisture, oil or other traces of liquid.
All versions can be used as compressors.
MAIN APPLICATION FIELDS

SC 100 and SC 140 oil-free rotary vane vacuum pumps have a powerful fan installed between the pump housing and the motor that ensures optimal cooling and a sturdy and compact housing protection that keeps the noise level extremely low. The highly durable graphite vanes and the low internal operating temperature guarantee resistant and long-lasting vanes. Maintenance has never been so easy thanks to the removable front grid, which allows direct access to the vanes, for quick replacement without disassembling the complete conveyer carter.
With the optimization of the suction and discharge phases, energy efficiency is increased: from atmospheric pressure to absolute final pressure, energy consumption does not change.
The SC 100 and SC 140 pumps are equipped with:
• Protective filter at the inlet
• Silencer at the outlet
Main application fields:
Packaging; preservation, drying and vacuum pressing of the wood; holding and lifting in the glass and stone fields.
