Description
The lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps are used when the intake flow may contain moisture, or when a better final pressure is required.
These pumps may run continuously within certain pressure ranges, or connected to containers to be emptied, whose volume is appropriately sized for the pump flow rate. Long-term use at atmospheric pressure is not recommended.
The lubrification allows this pumps to intake water vapor. To avoid a condensation of the water vapor, the lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps are equipped with the gas ballast, a system that introduces air in the compression stage and changes the vapor saturation pressure thus avoiding the condensation. Into the WR pump version the gas ballast system is improved and reinforced.
MAIN APPLICATION FIELDS
LC 40WR and LC 60WR lubricated rotary vane vacuum pumps have the same features as LC 40 and LC 60 pumps, but they are equipped with a device which splits oil and water condensate, being the latter expelled when the pump is stopped. As a result of this construction it is possible to use LC 40WR and LC 60WR in applications where very high concentrations of water vapour might be present, and where standard pumps could not be used.
The LC 40WR and LC 60WR pumps are equipped with:
• Oil check valve
• Exhaust mist eliminator
• Automatic floating oil recovery valve
• Gas ballast continuously working
• Shock mounts
• Oil level switch
• Pack of SW60 oil
